Let’s call a spade a spade, Penn State basketball has been quite inconsistent to start the season. The Nittany Lions looked awesome in the exhibition win over West Virginia. I know that it was only an exhibition game, but they still played incredibly well in that game.
But then after losses to DePaul and Bradley, I wasn’t sure if the Nittany Lions were still climbing to the same heights.
Both losses were close games, but still probably should have been wins.
Then there was the awesome victory over Virginia Tech, who was ranked #13 at the time of that game.
After that I think we were all ready for Penn State to continue playing well and get on a roll. And then they lost again. Granted it was against a ranked Maryland team on the road, but a loss is still a loss.
So maybe we’ll have a better idea of what this Penn State team is going to be after the game tonight against Indiana. But then again we still might have no idea.
